A Zeppelin -was high up in the air, and it was being fired at by our air guns, It was very near to my place, having just passed over. I stood there and! watched itjljis (wonderful sight. Shells were bursting all around the Zeppelin, and the noise was deafening.
A bomb was dropped threequarters l of a mile from where I live, into a small I square right opposite a hospital. There wasn't a window left in the place for a quarter of a mile, and the sashes were blown out of nearly every house around t|he square. I don't know how many bombs were dropped. Dozens and dozens anyway. Gee! one isn't safe anywhere. I couldn't sleep last night, so played games with some friends till one o'clock in the morning, a s the Zeppelins never come later than twelve o'clock." J NO COLD IS "NAZOL" PEOOF!
