We held our usual fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides and tallow this afternccn, when we offered a good catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. All good lines of sheepskins sold at an advance of Id to £d per lb, whilst inferior and seedy sorts were firm at last sale's prices. Prices for wool, hides and tallow \ve r e also on a par with rates ruling last sale. / QUOTATIONS. I PALMERSTON NORTH. At cur Palmerstcn North annual eatj lie fair on Thursday, 28th inst., we have to report having a good yarding of cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers. competition was keen | throughout the day, and practically J every line changed hands at advanced 1 rates.
