No definite announcement has- yet been made by the Prime Minister concerning the suggestion that he should proceed to London to consult with the Imperial authorities. Mr Massey stated some days ago that there were important local matters requiring attention before he cculd' consider a trip to the Mother Country. It has been suggested that one of these matters is the recruiting problem and that the Prime Minister is not likely to leave the Dominion until the results cf the National Register have been made plain.
