PALMERSTON NORTH PATRIOTIC SHOW.

Entries for this great event are now finally closed and indicate a high'y successful Show provided the wenlh.r is good. Always a great centre for purebred cattle. Palmerston Show Grounds will this year have a display t'hat has net been approached in the Dominion and the new cattle pavilions will he well opened. Some constant exhibitors have not been able to show this -oar through lack of labour, but other *>°)y ones have stepped forward. The A. and P. Association and Patriotic Committees are working well together and preparations are well forward. A very, big attendance is looked for as an ack-' nowledgement for the patriotic spirit, of the Association. The Show opens.on Wednesday next, closing each evening at 6.p.m., but the Patriotic Fair in Machinery Hall will remain open until 10 p.m. each evening, finally closing on Friday, sth November.
