At Friday night’s meeting of the Borough Council the Treasurer’s Report submitted showed the public accounts to stand as follows: —District Fund Account (dr.) £2.903 2/6, as against £2,925 4/ at last meeting; Interest Account (dr.) £SSS 1/2, as against £638 14/6 at last meeting; Temporary Loans Account (dr.'s £64o’ Loan Account No. 1 (dr.) £661 13/9; Loan Account No. 2 Cdr.) £l9l 8/9; j Oval Domain Account (cr.) £24 16/2. Accounts amounting to £157 13/2 were ! passed for payment. Castlecliff Kiosk WANGANUI SEASIDE RESORT. Owing to extensive alterations, Mrs Cunningham can now offer to visitors Superior Accommodation.
