"NEPTUNE'S DAUGHTER."
"Neptune's Daughter," the photodrama in which Annette Kellerman is starred, has registered an overwhelming success at its first New Zealand presentation, which was given in Wellington nearly three weeks. Although "Neptune's Daughter" vras only scheduled for one week, so great was the interest aroused among the Wellington public that, hundreds were turned from the doors nightly, unable t» gain admission, and the engagement, was therefore extended for another week. As, at the end of the second week the interest was unabated, th* management again extended the season by adding a third week. A three weeks' run for one photoplay at the same theatre, in a city the size of Wellington, is breaking all records for length of run hitherto attained in the pictorial world, but this what the Kellerman Film is reported to hare done everywhere it has opened. The success of "Neptune's Daughter" seem* to have been caused, first, by its beauty and novelty, and second by the versatility of Annette Kellerman, the Australian Venus, as she is popularly called.
