PARLIAMENTARY MESSENGER EXPIRES ON QUEER'S WHARF. WELLINGTON, This Day. W. Lucas, chief messenger at Parliamentary Buildings, dropped dead on the Queen's Wharf last night. A *Kdtor ACCIDENT. AUCKLAND MAN RUN DOWN. AUCKLAND, This Day. William Huddy, aged 65, a labourer, nvas knocked down by a motor car in the street and died at the hospital three hours later. Corporal Thomas Jones, who was driving the motor car, was not. aware of the accident until he felt a bump and found the man lying on the road.
