OjNE BED EQUIPMENT. The Mayoress (Mrs Arrow smith) has received the following list of articles required for the equipment of each bed for the Hospital Ship: 4 pillows 6 sheets, 2 by 25 yards 6 pillow slips, 20 by 30 inches 2i quilts, 2 by 21 yards, made of Bolton sheeting, wtih Turkey red border 4 bath towels 10 fac 0 and 'hand towels 11 hot water bottles and covers 6 pyjamas 21 nightingales 21 bed jackets 2 night shirts (must be flannel) 2 day shirts v 4 under vests 4 bed socks z 2 pairs slippers ,2 pairs day socks 4 face cloths 12 handkerchiefs 2 flannel drawers 2 dressing gowns 2 flannel waistcoats 2 mufflers Bandages Garments, where possible, made of flannel, Unim, or Ceylon flannel.
