AMUSEMENTS.

THE KENNEDYS. TO -MOE B 0 W XIG HT. As a concert party the Kennedy Family have a world-wide reputation, and their performance can be recommended M'ith every confidence to the music-loving public cf Taihape. They appear at the Taihape Town Hais tomorrow night, and we doubt not thaithere will be a very large audience to greet the talented party. Of their appearance in Nelson recently one of the local papers says:—"Those who were unforutnate enough (we use the word advisedly) enough to be absent from the Theatre Royal last evening', on the occasion of the first concert by the Kennedys, missed a musical entertainment the standard of which is all but too rarely heard in Nelson. The audience was a demonstrative one, and out of a programme of IS numbers almost every item was encored —some twice and even thrice. . This in itself is a big compliment to those taking part in the vocal and instrumental'selections which made up a choice and varied entertainment. Every member Of the company has musical ability, and knows how to use the gift. The programme included vocal selections, instrumental quartettes, flute, volin, and 'cello solos, and every one was thoroughly enjoyed, specially choice items rousing the audience to a high pitch of enthusiasm.' Seats may be reserved at Finch's Bazaar.
