RECREATION RESERVE SHEDS.

(To the Editor)

Sir, 1 wag present, on Saturday, at a hockey match played on the Recreation Ground, between a team of gymnasium ladies and one of Tnihape gentlemen. I noticed several sfneds there, all of which were locked. The ladies who played ha<i to leave their clothes outside one of these sheds and afterwards to lest outside. The authority who had power to open these sheds must have known that this match was taking place as it was known to most Taihape residents. It would have been, then, but a small

act of courtesy for them to have opened one of these sheds for th.o, lady

players. Moreover the gentlemen,' play

ers might have made It their business to se;% that the lades wd;e granted this very small privilege.—l am, etc..

DISGUSTED.
