GERMAN FRINCE'S WIDOW.
SENT TO PRISON IN ENGLAND. A woman who claimed to be the wi ow, by morganatic marriage, of Prin Christian Victor of Sschleswig-H« stein, was sentenced at Marylebone three months' imprisonment in the se ond division for having failed to regi ter as an alien enemy.
The prisoner, who wore a velvet ce tume and a black straw hat, was d scribed as Guta Federicke Maria Cha lotte Freiherrin von Petersdorf, 37, a actress and novelist, of German natioi ality. living at Euston Road. Detective-Inspector Thomas Dugga said the woman claimed that her a leged marriage with Prince Christia Victor made her a Britsh subject. SI had made a detailed statement settin forth her claim.

So far as he could gatl er, she had assumed the title Freiherri von Petersdorf without any justifies tion. Her story of a morganatic ma iage seemed to him impossible on t face of it.
