) At the meeting of the above body the following business was transacted: | Oio Road Loan: T!he chairman and clerk wer e authorised to seal and sign th e debentures for th e Oio Road Loan of £IO9O, and sign the coupons. Alteration of County Boundary; On the motion of Cr Ford, it was resolved to agree to the suggestion of the Waimarino County Council and postpone th e consideration of the alteration of the boundaries of the respective counties. •

Washouts: On the motion of Crs Qvocker and Morris, that dangerous place in front of Edwards’ place on ■ the Kaitieke-Retaruke Road be fencjed; also two washouts on. same road ( be attended to and a pipe culvert be put in front of Leicester’s place. On the motion of Crs Morris and Alanson it was resolved that tenders, be called for clearing slips and reforming road between Turate and Tarimu Bridges on the Lower Retaruke Valley Road. | Land Laws Amendment. Or Ford j moved and Cr Murray seconded, that i the Minister for Lands be requested to amend the Land Laws Amendment I Act of 1912, relating to Special Road- ' ing District so as to provide that th,e i whole of the rents may be hypotheI cated to pay interest charges and sinking funds on loans to be raised for the purpose of providing road access to holdings within such special reading district.
