IN FULL SWING BOTHA VERSUS HERTZOG. (Reed. 10.10 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Sept 9 The elections campaign is in full swing. Practically all seats contested are in the main a fight between ♦Bothaites and Hertzogites, the latter opposing all Botha’s candidates. Bothaites ef econtesting all Orangia seats, which hitherto wore regarded a s overwhelmingly Hertzogite. The feature of the campaign is the number of candidates who have served in the ranks against Germans. Bothaites appeal for a majority ovep all parties, emphasising South Africa’s Imperial obligations. Unionists offer to give full support to the Government.
