On-e pound reward Is offered for the return of a black and tan sheep dog, lost from the railway station last night. Mr. and Mrs. J. Sergeant-Major Tuekey, in charge of the Defence Office at Taihape, has r*ceived a telegram informing him that a hospital train will pass through Taihape at 2.30 o'clock to-morrow (Sunday) morning and asking him to convey this information to the Mayor. The .world-famous Kennedy Family of Musicians will make a welcome reappearance in Taihape Town Hall again on Wednesday, 22nd inst. The splendid musical treat this family gave in Taihape last November will be well remembered by all who were fortunate I enough to hear them, Messrs. Collinson and Gifford, drapers, milliners, and clothiers, who have purchased the large premises now occupied by Mr. C. E. Darvill, will open for business on Wednesday next, when a great clearing sale of ail Mr. Darviil's drapery stock will commence. A bargain “hot-time’ ’ is to continue till every article is ; disposed of.
