Mr. B. Magec, of the local Post and Telegraph staff, is leaving on his annual holiday and will), be absent from Taihape for a. few weeks Mr. G. B. Holmes, the man who went to the front and took the kinematograph films of actual warfare, ia now in Taihape arranging to show the most interesting and sensational of them in the Town Hall. At Marton the theatre was unable to contain the audience, not even with the immense stage being packed.
