YESTERDAY’S RESULTS,
The Spring Meeting of the Morton Jockey Club was held on the Marton Racecourse yesterday. There a large attendance, and the racing was of a most interesting character. The satisfactory total of £15,150 wasimachined as against the sum of £13.'405 at last year ’s meeting. The going war heavy, and times in consequence were slow. Results: — Hack Hurdles (one mile and a half): Toreador 1, RUatangata 2, Rhxer C. Time, 2.56 3.5; Maiden Hack Plate- (seven- furlongs): Hydros !, Moutoa 2, Bronl; DeMvel 3. Time; 1.34 3-5.
