Butter: Market quiet, prices easier. Danish very slow, 165/ to 169/; S.berian in good demand, 134/ to 138/; Irish creamery quiet, 154/ to 158/; Argentin e good enquiry, 152/ to 153/. Cheese: Market quiet, but steadier. Canadian market quiet, 72/ to 74/, according to quality and condition; English Cheddar quiet, 94/; New Zealand juiet, fine and lnest 71/ to 73/ and up to 74/; United States slow, 66/ to 70/, but is not in gocd condition, 58/ to 64/. Hemp: Market very quiet. New Zealand good-fair grade per ton £32, fair £3O. The forward shipment is quoted at the same price. Manila new graded fair £3B. Wheat. Market dull; prices irregular, the demand being principality speculative. The Canadian and American crops aire reported to be good. Canadian old crop on passage 54/ per quarter, new crop September to October shipment 45/6, October to November 45/'. American new crop, August to September, 45/6. Oats: Market quiet, with small business doing. Argentine, on the spot, 25/ per quarter; August to September shipment, 24/6.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from thf-ir London house, under date of the 26th instant: Rabbit Skins: There is an improved demand for all description. Prices in--1 creased 2d per lb for everything oxj cept light summers, which are 13d J per lb dearer. 1,116 bales were offered, and 1.015 bales sold.
