The chairman (Mr. Henry Wafcelin) declared that the high' prices for but-ter-fat was Kke blood" money. They knew what was the cause of the high prices to their sorrow. He'hoped theshareholders would show their gratitude.

The meeting decided to empower the directors to make donations- as they deemed advisable, but not to the war fund, the limit of the donations to be£lSo. equal to what 1-Sd" per lb «m butter-fat produced last' season.
