Taihape & District QUEEN of the CARNIVAL FETE. It has been decided to hold a QUEEN OF THE CARNIVAL FETE in Taihape and contiguous districts in aid of the WOUNDED SOLDIERS’ FOND. This war affects us all: Our lives and liberties are at stake, and if we can’t fight, then it is our BOLDEN DUTY TO KEEP THOSE WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR OS. We want your monetary assistance, for we don’t want it to be said that New Zealand forgot her gallant sons in the hour of their need.
