In the Supreme- Court to-day, James; Haughton appealed against a conviction imposed by Mr Cutten, SM r whereby he bad' tie en sentenced to aterm of three mxmtW imprisonment on a charge of indecent exposure Witness for the Crown, a ] a d, gave evidence of the identification of the appellant.
In giving evidence", Haughion, a young married man; dVmed all knowledge of the incident, and submitted a satisfactory alibi. HTs Honcur, in sustaining the appeal, held that the'evidence of identification was quite insufficient. The appellant'was completely exonerated. His Honour said heconsidered him to be a man of exemplary character, abouts.
