The High Commissioner reports: In the Riga battle the Germans lost the super-Dreadnought "Moltke," three cruisers and seven torpedoe boats. Tho Germans attempted a landing at Peraau, but were repulsed. The troops in four enormous barges wer e exterminated, and the barges captured.
