LIQUOR SMUGGLERS PUNISHED I TAKE DRINK TO TRENT HAM. WELLINGTON, Saturday. Six men were charged at th e Magistrate’s Court with taking liquor into , Trentham Camp, where they were emToyed, and were each fined £5 or month. On e of the men had a bottle of whisky tied inside the leg of his trousers, hut was detected by the military police. A FATAL FALL John Andrew Diamond, an employee at Staples’ brewery, died in the hospital to-day from a fractured skull, the result of a fall while in a fit. He v.as formerly a railway guard.
