ANOTHER TAIHAPE SACRIFICE.

TO THE GERMAN MOLOCH. Tlie very many friends of Mr. G. B. Reid, of Opai, will regret to learn that bis brother, Mr. Henry James Reid, has succumbed to wounds received in the fighting on Gallipoli Peninsula. At the end of last week Mr. Reid received an official wire advising him of his misfortune; since then condoling telegrams have been received by Mr. Reid from their Majesties the King and Queen, their Excellencies the Governor and Lady Liverpool, the Prime Minister, and tlis Hon. Sir Joseph Ward. The late H. .1. Reid was practically brought up by his brother, G. E. Reid, of Opai, therefore the happening will be more intensely felt. He was a great favourite with his relatives and friends, and more than ordinarily popular with the public, being a successful athlete and footballer. The deceased soldier was only 20 years of age.
