I With reference to the death of T'ri- | vate Robinson in the Dannevirke Hospital, after the Minister for Defence had made a statement to a deputation at Wellington that "the Dannevirke ease was certainly not cerebrospinal meningitis," Dr. Me Allan, medical superintendent of the hospital, telegraphed to him for his authority for making the statement© and received-'the -foltowinjf reply: "Sorry to say.; l vtaf under i i misapprehension # <,abont tho Dannevirke ease. It had "been reported to mo that it not one. nf ecrebfo-' spinal >n eninsfi<:-.'"
