'' HINEMOA'' OPERA. TO-MORROW NIGHT. Our readers are reminded that the great Maori Opera Company will perform the opera "Hinemoa" in the Taihape Town Hall to-morrow (Saturday) night. The opera is based upon that most beautiful of all old Maori love legends. "Hinemoa and Tutanekai." Those taking the principal parts are well-known Maori vocalists. Tiawhi Rogers has a delightfully clear tenor j voice and knows how to use it. Toby '• Mahima is one of the best of baritones and a humorist that it would be hard to beat either among Pakehas- or Maoris. Rua is one of those Maoris who performed in London for a long time. The lady performers will be found to act and sing their parts well up to what is demanded of them. The present is an opportunity to see a Maori opera, based on a Maori subject, played entirely by Maoris, which should not be missed. A full orchestra is with the Company, so that nothing will be omitted to detract from the performance.
