Indian reports state that a dacoity was committed at Datunia, a village; a few miles off Danton, on th e Bengal Nagpur railway. The dacoits broke into the home of one Babu Gaurhari Nanda, a wealthy landholder, tied him down with a rope, branded his wife vith burning torches, broke open the -rf"v and decamped with cash and to the amount of about \OOO rupees.
