The English lanaguage has been substituted for German in most of the commercial schools of Russia. DEPORTED. LONDON, August 10. Madame Fanotha, the Kaiser's favourite pianist, has been arrested in London and deported. Madame Fanotha was a native of Warsaw and settled in London many years ago. She was appointed Court pianist of "William the First. The Daily Express says although she had entire control and the confidence of the Royal and aristocratic houses, Madame Janotha developed a fierce hatred of the British and violently and contemptuously, denounced them. An unguarded expression used in a fit of temper led to the Home Office order that she be instantly deported.
