BOMBARDMENT OF DUNKIRK.

The Huns have added to their black record by killing" 50 and wounding over a hundred persons at Dunkirk. Shots v»ere fired at the rate of one every seven minut'js first of all, and then every five minutes, until half-past cne : o'clock on Thursday morning, a total of about twenty shells being fired that day. The bombardment was opened again at fiv e o'clock on Friday evening, wb,en ten shells fell on the town. At no time was there any panic. Th e people remained calm. There, was only anger and disgust at such senseless murder. One shell struck and decapitated a young gM Cif 15; another traversed th e roof of a house, tearing off a woman's right arm; and a third fall among a group of children playing in front of the freight station. .All tlie s little ones were thrown to the round, and when th e dust and smok c cleared three of the children were seen to be dead. Two others died on the way to the hospital, and of those wounded one has since died. The other children escaped with lighter injuries. A freight truckman at the railway station and his horse wore instantly killed, and two men were seriously injured, one of them so badly that he died Many of the victims are buried under th e ruins of th!3 houses which have been demolished.
