We have to 'report having cur usual weekly stock sale at Pending on Friday, 30th inst., when we offered a. good yarding of sheep to a large; attendance cl' the public. HIDE AND SKIN REPORT, We held the third of our series of special crufcchings sates to-day, together with our usual monthly sale of wool, skins and hides. We offered a large catalogue of all classes to a big attendance of buyers; competition was very keen for all clcjah lines of crutch--1 ings, IV’ee of seed, but seedy or carbonising lines showed a considerable ■ decline in sympathy with cable advices from London and other markets. Best sheepskins were about on a par with last sale’s rates, while short and inferior were somewhat lower. Hides and tallow maintained last sale’s rates.

Crutchings.—Med. to good 12d to 12u { cl, shorter an ( ] heavy condition lines 10 Id to 112 d, seedy 71d to 81d,very inferior and seedy to 61d; no super lines catalogued.

Fleece.—Rough and inferior 12d to 12Id, lambs 1/, de ; ad wool Sid to Hid, locks and pieces 6d to 6:id, pieces and bellies Sd to 91d, black wool 10id. Sheepskins.—Full wool coarse, best lines lOld to lid, ditto medium and line 10:;d to lid, inferior and damaged Sid to 9d, half-wools, 8d to Sid, ditto (broken ami damaged) 6d to 61d, lambs lOld, shorn and and shorn 61 d to Sid, dead hoggets 8d to Sid, ditto, damaged and inf. 6d to 61d, pelts 3d ot 31d, ditto, torn and damaged lid to 2ld, butchers, damp and salted, at med. 8/ to 8/3, other lots 6/6, 7/ 7/6 to 7/10, lambs 4/ to 5/9.
