At the final wool safes of the season, the prices were equivalent to late 1 rates. Usew season's sales will open on the 11th September. MELBOURNE, This Day. At the wool' sales there was a big attendance, with good competition for all better classes. • Between Continental and American buyers competition was keen. A five to seven and a half per cent, increase above the June rate was realised.. Burry and faulty lots were neglected and there was no improvement.
