iTS A LONG WAY TO WARSAW.

THE SITUATION IMPROVED.

LONDON. July 25.

The Daily Telegraph’s Petrogra<E correspondent says there are indications that the situation in regard to Warsaw has improved during the last 24 hours. The chief Austro-Germait blow is still directed against the Lub-lin-Chclm railway. The enemy’s ap*» proach to Tranmiki threatens the railway. Even if the enemy succeed in. breaking through here, they will have a tough job on the Ivangorod-Pestlt-bosk railway before they can hope t« compel th e surrender of Warsaw.

Official: The enemy continues to advance on the Janlshai-Shavli-Rossint front. On the Narew front, mf the left side at Pina we repulsed a night attack, notwithstanding poisonous gases.
