PEmOGRAD, - July 20.
Official; An enemy column in the Riga-Shawli region has reached Tukyum. On the Dobllu front we advanced on the 18th southwards towards Hofzumberge and Benin.
Cossacks raided the enemy rear north of Okiany, capturing an important conyoy. We continue to press the .enemy in the Popeliany region, and repulsed attacks on our Sfcawii'*position on the night of th e 17th and dislodged the enemy from last trenches on the Transnitaen front, which we won on the 15th.
The enemy has assumed the offensive on the Narew front, capturing Porely on the right bank of the Pissa. On the 17th we repulsed attacks on the left bank of the Chava, near Vyk Pchetchniak.
Our troops west of Omulieff withdrew towards the Narew Bridgehead, fighting, an obstinate rearguarl action. Enemy attacks on the Wilkolaz-Byk-hava front, in the direction of Lublin, were repulsed. The enemy captured Krastosnkv and Vieproz fords above. We repulsed many attacks on the right bank of the Vieproz, but the enemy established himself on the right bank of the Volitza, near the mouth. We thereupon withdrew to our second line.
We repulsed four furious attacks on a : wide front near Grabowice and drove the enemy on the 17th, between Genitchna and tlie Bug, after a desperate fight, from all his trenches. Desperate fighting continues in the Sokal region, also on the Dneister. Serious engagements have taken place in other directions.
