The presence of an organisation of syndicalists in Auckland was mentioned by Mr Craig, president of the Auckland Employers’ Association, at the annual meeting. He said a direct group had established headquarters in this city, and wer e openly advocating scientific sabotage as being the most powerful weapon of a militant minority. He made the statement so that members of the Association should be aware of tho presence of such dangerous individuals. DEATH OF TWO SOLDIERS. WELLINGTON. July 21. Two soldiers, who died in Wellington from meningitis in the last 24 hours are Trooper Daniel Kempthorne, belonging to Templeton, Christchurch, who died at 11.40 p.m. on Tuesday in Victoria Hospital; and Private Duncan' Fraser, of Pokeno, sear Auckland, who died at 12.45 a.m. Wednesday in the General Hospital.
