GERMANY’S WILD DREAM OF WORLD CONQUEST.
WHAT WAS TO BE IMPOSED ON ALL NATIONS. SIX THOUSAND MILLIONS * INDEMNITY. ENGLAND TO BE FORCED TO BUILD CHANNEL TUNNEL. Herr Rudol Martin, German ex— Minister of the Interior, has put forward an amazing Prussian plan for the division of Europe. "After two years of fighting,” says this maddest of prophets of Armageddon, "Germany will dictate terms of peace in London, the conditions Including indemnities from the Allies of something between £4,000,000,000 and £6,000,000,000. "Germany will possess the FrencK coasts, dominating Paris and London with 40,000 airships. “There will b e a Channel tunnel (which England will lse forced to build), carrying four railway tracks, besides motor roads, guarded at eacit end by German forces. "With the dlsemberment of Russia her exchequer will be depleted. Generally her territories will go to the neighbouring Powers meaning Germany and Austria, -w. - "Belgium, of course, will become Gdrman, paying a special indemnity; and surrendering the Congo. "England will be compelled to surrender Egypt to Turkey, and India: nrobably to Germany. France will lose Algeria, Tunis and Morocco. "The Sues Cana' will go to Turkey;’ ■while Belfort will ,b e joined on to Al-sace-Lorraine as German territory.” Servla, it is added, will be annexed to Austria, and Bessarabia given to Roumania. This amusing dreamer somewhat unnecessarily explains that the imposition of huge indemnities is for the mrpose cf preventing a renewed war against Germany. This contingency, how'ever, appears to b e Provided for in a further stipulation that every malg °f military age will be compelled to serve in th e German forces. Summarising the i ; , glorious programme, the writer writes: V* "The Germ an ised' 'Side of the Channel must furnish a- for the operations of aircraft; the ports must serve as harbours for submarines, torpedo boats, cruisers and battleships. “The interests of the wcHd’s peace, after th e landing of the Germans in England, will demand the German supremacy of the seas,- and of the air over the Channel.”
