Having such a large number of artists at his command, Mr. Brauscombo is in a position to his public companies evenly balanced, nnd with that cohesion which is so essential in 'the performances presented by Costume Comedy Companies. The : lied Dandies who visit us have jugt completed a most successful, season in Auckland of seven weeks, and prior to that they played for eight months in Brisbane, where they presented over 700 separate items, and thus it will be seen that their repertoire is enormous. The Brauseombe firm's agents in London send out the very latest songs, .sketches, etc., suitable for the companies. After they have been reviewed by Mr. Branscomoe, they are passed on to ( the producer of the various companies, who is in the ease of the Ded Dandies .is Mr. Claude Dumpier, whose stage j business and grouping are cleverly I worked out, and very artistic, and his | stage settings and costuming are a fea--1 tare of the productions.
