NEW LIQUOR LICENSES. I GRANTED IN GREYMOUTIL GREYMOUTH, July 5. At the adjourned annual meeting cf the Grey Licensing Committee two neu accommodation licenses were granted, and two old licenses were allowed to lapse, thus Causing vacancies. New I censes were granted in places where a license had not previously existed, and in districts where the population is larger than in the case of the lapsed licenses. The Minister for Defence has received advice that the Fifth Reinforcements have reached the first port of call. This would, of course, sav e exchange and brokerage. What we should like to do is to raise the money we need from time to time.
