AMUSEMENTS.

THREE STARS THEATRE. There will be a complete change of programme in this theatre to-night, when two line star pictures will Oe shown, the first being a beautiful pathetic drama, from the Vitagraph Co., Entitled “A Wayward Daughter,” It is a story of a good girl who spurned her mother’s love and was lured to New York, and there eagerly accepted the love she spurned when she realisd her danger. The film is 2,000 feet in length. Another fine drama, “ Hasty Judgment,” is by the popular Gaumont Co. “ Hearts do not break, they only ache for old sake, sake.” The supporting pictures consist of War Budget, comics, and scenics. In all, a good programme. KING’S THEATRE. The new programme shown last night was greeted by a good house, and the programme was deserving of it. ‘‘The Leech of Industry” was a fine picture. An exciting race between a train and a motor-ear was worth the money, especially whore the car is caught on a crossing and carried on the cowcatcher along the line. “The Vases of Hymen,” in which the late John Bunny and Flora Finch acted the parts, was very good. The greatest hit of all was the “Sea Nymphs,” by the Keystone Co. The acting of Mabel Normand and “Fatty” Arbuckle was really too funny to explain, the diving being very good. Anyone wanting rr have a good laugh should see it. The programme will be shown, again tonight.
