KING’S THEATRE

The change of programme at thisr popular house to-night is one of those special star features, entitled “Battleof the Sexes,” and is 5000 feet long. The story is tense-vivid, and depicts New York’s night life and its striking contrasts. The joy of home life is wrecked by the influence of a “Circe.” An infinite sympathy surrounds the lives of the characters, while the single , standard theory of morals is advanced. It shows “Law of Moral Ethics, ” The Prey of the Happy, The Ugly Path of Passion, and the Power of a Daughter’s Love. It is a picture within a picture, and should be seen by all. On the programme is a delicious Edison comedy, “Absent-Minded Cupid,” and a comedy drama. “Taken by Storm.” Exquisite scenics and a good War Gazette are also to be shown.
