Yi : : " •' ■•/ In.jtlie first place-she weirs an even big dress of silver tissue, with a serifioverdyess of atherald jfeen ninon edged with gold braid, the trained slcirt having a deep border of GuipeVe insertion, with which is worn a quaint jewelled deaddress. In act two Miss' D'orrington wears one of Worth's creations. It is called i sunshine frock, a pale maize coloured figured silk, the skirt draped and over it a narrow panel ’finished with a 'urge cnbachcn of pearl and crystal cm a net foundation is finished with a high swathe belt of the silk, the “tout ensemble’’ having the effect of a ray of golden sunshine. ' The gown designed by Madame Chris-t-ene for Act four is a typical specimen of that famous modiste craft, the drap. •ed skirt of purple satin charmeuse rising to the bodied which is composed of gold embossed, velvet together a Dernier Cri of fashion, long sleeves of purple net complete one of Miss Dorrington’s most exquisite robes. A frock which is a striking contrast to the evening gowns is of white Oriental satin with a short fur-edged tunic of blue tapestried ninon, the bodice of ninon and fur. During the performance some novel evening wraps are worn, one very striking bejng a military cape of purple satin-lined with shell pink lace, the high military collar of Paris lace with embossed purple flowers. Miss Hogu e who plays Madam Prudence w'ears a very distinct frock in Act four, by “Farmer,” Sydney. The new khaki coloured lac-e forms an overdress for a delicate shell pink parlette silk. 7 The- bodice is finished in front with a large opal butterfly and with-a khaki bait completes a charming toilette., The company will be appearing for one night, only and the box plan. Is now on view at Finch’s where day gales may also be obtained and] seats- reserved without extra charge. The performance, commences at 8.15.
