The death sentence passed on Norman Keals for the murder of Ms sis-ter-in-law and child, at Onewhero, in Sebruary last, has bean committed to imprisonment for life. . ’ The opinion of three experts was taken —Drs Hay, Hassell, and Truby King—who all agreed.that the prisoner was of unsound mind. For some time Miss Senior, of Hutt, had been leading the poll, and. on Friday Miss McCormack.whose candidature was supported by the soldiers at Trenthami cam e to the front on Saturday..
