WEDDING.

HARDING—'WILFORD. The wedding was celebrated at the ! Gonville Anglican Church, Wanganui, j on Thursday, of Miss Izie Winifred j Wilford, youngest daughter of the late Dr Wilford, and Mr Arthur Harding, son of Dr H. Harding, of Radnor, i Wales. The bridegroom will be well remembered as having settled in this district after the tour, a few years ago, of the Anglo-Welsh football team, of which lie was captain, and last year was a valued member of the Mataroa I Football team. The Yen. Archdeacon Reeve officiated. Mr Gordon Mcßeth acted as organist, and the church was beautifully decorated for the happy occasion. Th e best man was Mr W. Bat. ley. The. bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P., wore a dress of .white crepe de chine trimmed with beautiful silver filet lace, the hat being white, lined with violet and wreathed with a large white ostrich feather. She carried a bouquet of violets. She was attended by her niece, Miss Isabell Wilford, as chief bridesmaid, who wore a full-skirted white taffeta frock, with violet crepe de chine sash and hat; and the Misses Nancy Wilson and Jessica Saunders, who wore dainty frocks of white French muslin, with violet sashes and hats. The chief bridesmaid wore an amethyst ring, and the younger bridesmaids amethyst brooches, gifts of the bridegroom. The bride’s mother wore a dress of black silk moire, with black hat trimmed with a black ostrich feather and a touch of pink. After'the ceremony, th e wedding breakfast was held at Mrs Wilford’s residence at Gonville, and Mr and Mrs Harding later left by the afternoon express on their honeymoon trip to the North, the bride going away in a coat and skirt of dark- blue gaberdine I with sapphire blue velvet sailor hat, I and ■ furs
