Major H. Peacock, N.Z.S.C., who left Now Zealand in charge of the Maori contingent for service abroad, has re-' turned to Auckland. Major Peacock was taken ill before leaving Australian waters, and had to be placed ashore at Albany. He has since been in hospital, and is now well. The major intends going into camp with the next Maori contingent, which is to be assembled at Auckland in the near future. Quick's the word when tackles it.
