DALGETY AND COMPANY, LTD. HIDE AND SKIN REPORT. WELLINGTON, Jne 11. In addition to the usual fortnightly sal e of skins, hides and tallow this we held the second of the special crutchings sales of the season. Representatives of Home, Japanese, and local buying houses were present. Compared with our May sale prices for crutchings were lower than the extreme prices ruling then by Id to lid per lb. Fleece wool was keenly competed for at late rates. All good lines of sheepskins were in keen demand at an advance of id to 2d per lb. All classes of hides wer e very' firm, stout hides selling at slightly advanced prices.

Our next fortnightly sale will be held on the 25th inst, but all bale wool will b e held over for our next crutchings sale on 9th July. Following are the prices realised:

Wool.—Crossbred fln e 15d to 152 d, crossbred, medium coarse 13id to 15Ad, pieces and bellies 9d to lid, locks and stained pieces sid to 92d, crutchings, superior, 13d to Hid, crutchings, medium good, 12id to 13id, crutchings seedy and inf., 72d to 102 d, lambs 14d to 16id, dead 12d to 13id.

Sheepskins. —Half-bred lid to Hid, fine crossbred lid to Hid, medium coarse crossbred 10id to Hid, shorn to half wools 7id to 10. id, dead and damaged crossbreds 82d to lOd, inf. •and badly damaged lid to 72d, lambs 9d to Hid. damp, salted and green 0/6 to 10/. pelts 3d to 5d f lambs salted 2/ to 7/6.

Hides. —Ox, heavy (601bs up), 10id to 10!?d, ox, medium (50/59) 9}d to 10 5-Sd, ox, light (49 and under), 82d to 10 Id, cow, heavy (551bs amj over) 9 l-Bcl, cow, medium (42 to 54) Bid to D l-Bd, cow. light (under 42) B*d to 9d, cut, slippy and inf. 6d to Bid, hull, stag 4id to 6 3-Bd, yearlings (181bs to 241bs) 7id to 10 l-Bd, calf, superior (up to IGlbs) 9id to 10 l-Bd, calf, medium good (up to 16 lbs) Bid to 10id, calf, damaged (up to 161bs) 2d to Bid.
