OBITUARY.
The demise of one of Taihape’s most widely known residents in the person of Mr Luke Enright, will be received with surprise and regret by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.. The late Mr Enright has been connect - ed with the district for the past' 20' years, and came here as a boy. Aboutten years ago he joined Mr Mat. Witson as stable proprietor and came ultimately in touch with the rural and' business coramunitj r . Only last week Mr Enright drove the hearse to the: cemetery on the last journey of a well’ known identity, and at that time the most avowed predictor wyuld neverhad hazarded a thought that Mr En* . right’s mortal remains would -followin such a, short time. However, dlpthorla took a deadly and' formidable grip on deceased, and the heat mejiifcaJt attention was ct no : avail..
