OUR BOYS.
•On Monday morning there are some twenty volunteers leaving Taihape for Trentham preparatory to going to the front. Owing to restrictions placed upon recruiting officers, and also upon the Press of the whole Dominion, by the Defence authorities, it is probable that a more than necessary extreme caution has been observed about publishing any information with respect to recruiting. These restricted hare been removed and we are perfectly free to refer to the numerical strength of any contingent or draft going into training or to the front. The Patriotic Committee thinks that the public should give these men who are leaving on Monday morning some evidence <>f the appreciation iu which <heir selfsacrifice is publicly viewed. The ptblic is therefore invited to be present on the .rrihvay platform en Monday morning at half-past five to gi'3 the boys the send-off they deserve. It is early for many people to be out but we should compare this very .slight inconvenience to the noble and incalculable sacrifice those departing ones are making for out benefit and safety.
