Mr Hopkins hoard at Bow Street Police Court, London, a claim respecting a pearl necklace said to be worth nearly £IOO, which had been found by the wife of a chauffeur The claimant, Mrs Edith Hoy, stated that about 11 years ago she found the necklace on the top of a horse ’bus near Trafalgar Square. She had no diea that it. was of any value, and.had worn it on several occasions until .about. 12 months ago, when a friend suggested that the pearls might b e real. She sent it,for valuation.to a pawnbroker, who detained it and communicated with the police. Detective-Sergeant Fair said that the necklace had been advertised ektesively, but the owner had not come forward. The Magistrate made an order for it to be given up to Mrs Hoy. ’
