On Friday, Ith rust., we held the- nwt of cur series of special crutching safes, iu conjunction with our usual monthly wool, skin, hide, etc., sale, and we offered a good catalogue oi! all classes to a large attendance of buyers. Crutchings.—These opened up ia clean condition, and were keenly corn-. peted for, especially for the better lines. No super lines cam-e forward, and the bulk of our offreing comprised chiefly medium to. good, realising fro&ju, 12d to 13Jd. Seedy.lines were also eagerly competed for, but sold at consider' ably lower rates. Wool.-—Crutchings, best lines, 23d to 13£d; medium to good, 12d to 12*dj[ short and dingy, lOd to 11,3 d; ditto, seedy, lOd to lljfd; very seedy and inf., 6d to 85d. Fleece: Crossbred 13d to 14Jd; ditto, seedy and inferior.ioyd to 12£d.Lambs 12$d to 13Jd. ditto, inferior S£d to 10d. Pieces and bellies Sd to Sid. .Locks and pieces 6d to SJd. Dead 10d to 112 d.
