A meeting of farmers approved a proposal to establish co-operative farmers’ freezing works,- 8,730 five pound shares being subscribed in the room.. AUCKLAND, Saturday. , At the Supreme Court Justice Cooper gave judgment on an application by Soren Marins Mikkelsen to have an order of the Court varied so that |he might have access to his little girl, eleven years old, who was the central figure in a sensational abduction case a couple of years ago. His Honour said he had intreviewed the girl in company with Dr Lindsay. The latter said the girl was evidently ; in petpetnal fear of her father. His Honour’s judgment was: It ; Would be hjig’My dietrimejtal to the physical and mental health of the girl if access by the father was permitted, even under most stringent precautions. He declnied to vary the order and dismissed the application with costs.
