RANGIWAEA-RAKETAPAUMA.

/(Our Own Correspondent).' The Eangiwaea—Kakctapauma combined settlers' social and dance in aid of the Belgian Fund, organised by Mr. M. J. 0 'Connor, took place in tae Eangiwaea Hall on Monday evening. It was one of the most successful functions yet held in Eangiwaea and should encourage the residents of that district to hold more socials for the same deserving cause. Some twenty visitors from Taihape were among the large assemblage, and dancing was continued until the wee sma' 'oors. During the evening the Messrs. Stevens Bros., of Karioi, contributed a number of songs, which were greatly appreciated, as was the sailors' hornpipe danced by Miss D. O'Connor. Mr. 11. Chase officiated at the piano, and extras were played by Miss E. Stevens, Mr. E. Stevens, and Mr. T. O'Connor.
