Sir,—We, the women of Tabape, ar e anxiou s to form a Sewing and Knitting Club,” to make sox and comforts for the boys of our own district, now on active service, and we want to solicit the help of all, and any, who are Interested. We feel that by calling a meeting of the mothers and friends of our own boys to come foryvard and each do their share in their own particular way to. sew or knit, or help in any way they choose. A full meeting is earnestly requested. The call Is urgent to everyone. Let us show what the women-of Taihape can do. — T -.am, etc., O. TJ. SHUTE.
